I was just reading  my women's world magazine when i read it is national bundt cake day.Maybe we should all bake one to celebrate.Remember the bundt cake.My son and I have a collection of them.i

National Bundt Cake Day November 15

I was just reading my women's world magazine when i read it is national bundt cake day.Maybe we should all bake one to celebrate.Remember the bundt cake.My son and I have a collection of them.i still have the very first one I got.Anyone else with the pans.It was all the rage many years ago.They evan have websites to buy the cake.They are very fancy,expensive.It gives me even more ideas.

I have been making bundt cakes since the 60's. I love making them and I also still have the first pan that I got, too. I have several other sizes of the pans now and always get rave reviews when I make cakes for any function. I have a special recipe that is the simplest way I have found to make a wonderful cake. Using a box cake mix, add 4 eggs and 1 1/2 cups buttermilk, ( both at room temperature) with 1/2 cup oil, along with 2 small pkgs. of pudding in a flavor that is complementary to the cake mix chosen. Mix for 4 minutes (instead of the recommended 2) and it will be thicker because of the milk and the activated pudding; however it has always been the best cake. No one can believe that it comes from a box. Share your love and bake a bundt!

Oh how lovely ..Mybirthday November 15th; is also National bundt cake day.

you all wll be sending me bundt birthday cakes by "overnight express"/priority mail????????????

Any kind you make & send wil be appreciated.I/we will love & enjoy them all.please include recipes so I can make more of them before next year's birthday brings another truckload.

i would truely be embarased if even one bundt cake arrived

Hubby will put up the coffee if you want to bring it
in person I'll be too busy wiping away tears of joy & surprise if an yof you manage to stop by for a visit.On my birthday,the kitchen will be "OFF LIMITS" to me; hubby has already informed me....lunch out at the nearby Greek restaurant & then to a movie, if the admission price is not too high

I like any kind of bundt cake; especially ones filled w/ coconut,peanut butter or fruit fillings.

These days( now empty nesters)Imake mini bundt cakes( serve 2-4);so I get to experiment w/ all kinds of inventive filings; in case a "bright idea" turns out to be not such a good one

I plan on making a tunnel of fudge bundt cake. I have to laugh because my mother in law always calls the cake BUN-tit. Our son thought she was saying punt it and he wanted to throw the cake like a football. I think it took 10 years off my life trying to get to the cake before he grabbed it but brings a smile to this day.

I have numerous bundt recipes and pans. I think I will crack some black walnuts and make a black walnut cake. I have a black walnut cracker. I am not referring to a hammer/ anvil.

Happy birtday Ann, yep have a bundt cake pan and have used it so much it is faded but wont retire till absolutely positively have too. Not sure how long I have had it but do know for sure it has been over 37 years and using it frequently. Thanks will have to make cake for bundt day.

Cake baked the the various bundt pans alway impress my guests! I'm noted as a good baker because of how my cakes turn out!!

Although I own at least two bundt cake pans, it's been years since I have used them. When the kids were young I was always baking cookies, brownies, cupcakes or regular cakes. Since they're both grown and on their own I don't do as much baking except for the holidays. But maybe I will try a bundt cake soon. As long as I can give most of it away my hips will be safe LOL!
