I myself am a veteran. I appreciate the sacrifice your Brother is making for us all. God Bless and our prayers to keep all of the servicemen safe from harm.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of another young soldier, but also very proud of him for proudly serving our country and giving his life so we can enjoy freedom here in the U.S.A. It's true, we all know someone....family member, relative, friend....who is over there, and yes, they need our prayers every day. So do their famililies back here. I can't begin to imagine what it must be like when they hear on the news about another soldier's death....wondering if it were their loved one. Again, I'm very proud of our soldiers and will continue praying for them each and every day until they are all able to come safely home. God bless them all and their families as well!

Thank God for our soldiers. I noticed that many wrote that baked items go b ad before they get to the soldiers if you mail it because of the length of time it takes to get there. This site has a special section of items to bake to send to soldiers. It tells what will and will not work.

yes, you are right,it is taking way to long ,even the recipes on this site may not make it.they are stored in hot areas.you do not want to take a chance of getting them sick.my friend wants hard candy, beef jerky, gum.you need to check if it is ok to send meat products to certain countries.GOD BLESS THEM ALL.get them home soon.prayers are with your brother- in-law.
