My sons often helped me prepare our Christmas "Gwen's Breakfast Casserole" almost every Holiday season.

Well, time marches on and this year, for the first time we will have Christmas at our son and daughter-in-law's home and they have asked me to make the Christmas Breakfast Casserole. I look so forward to having my son and his wonderful wife help me with it.

That sounds like a good idea for an addition to a meal.  It sounds like you have a good recipe for one.

Breakfast casseroles make mornings, especially holiday mornings so easy and convenient.  Everyone can eat at the same time or as they wish since portions of the casserole can be reheated in the microwave oven.

Mary - most (all?) of these breakfast casseroles are supposed to be made the night before .... they are baked for 45-60 minutes before being served.   You do all the work and make the mess before the morning they are served.   Wonderful recipes for breakfast, brunch or any meal.

One nice thing about breakfast casseroles is that you can serve them at any time of the day, even for dinner.
