It was a very sad time in our lives when my mother passed away. It was hard for my 7 year old daughter to cope with it. She loved to help me bake and read the recipes, and during this time she made up her own recipes for everything. I think her favorite was mish-mash-- she through together everything she loved in a bowl and ate it -- cereals, gummies, nuts, popcorn, chocolate and more -- she ate so much of it-- but she was coping with the loss of grandma and I couldn't tell her no more.... Now she loves to create real recipe creations. It all starts when they are young -- get those kids in the kitchen....
