As a child, I used to bake cookies with my Mom, then my daughter, and now with my only granddaughter, and we have so much fun together. She loves to do the decorating with sprinkles, colored sugars, etc. and I let her do them any way she chooses !

I also baked with my Mom and sisters (I have 7) and then taught my sons (now grown) to bake with some hysterical events along the way. I don't have any grandchildren yet but I still bake with my sisters and borrow my young nieces (that my sister's call my practice grandchildren) until I have my own grandchildren.

Baking with my grandchildren is always such fun. They are always so eager to help and try to do knew things. It always makes me feel so good to include them in baking and they enjoy the outcome.

And baking with Mom is just as much bonding time with love for them.

I do the same thing with my grandchildren, ages 3 and 7. It was special with my own kids but even more so with the grandkids! Great memories for both you and your grandchild!
