Every Easter we make meringue cookies that are called "Tomb Cookies". We get out all of the ingredients, tools, and our bibles. While my husband or I read verses my daughters put corresponding ingredients that have special meanings. We put the cookies in the oven and tape it shut. They sit in the sealed oven overnight. In the morning, we have "empty tombs" to signify Christ's resurrection. It is a wonderful way to keep Christ in Easter traditions and they are really good cookies, too!

I have done this with my kids too when they were small. My sister always did it with her kindergarten class when she was teaching at her Christian school.
