Do you like Caesar Salad?  Do you make it?  We like it.  I have been making it for years.  My sister in law always asks for this.

CAESAR SALAD

3 cloves garlic,  peeled
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt and Tabasco sauce to taste
Lettuce (I always use romaine)
3 tablespoons grated cheese (Parmesan)
2 cans anchovies, drained
2 eggs, boiled for 60 seconds
1/2  cup croutons
6 tablespoons olive oil

Rub garlic and salt into wooden salad bowl.  Add mustard, lemon juice, tabasco sauce and olive oil and whisk together until well blended.  Wash and dry lettuce of your choice and tear leaves into bite size pieces.  Sprinkle with cheese; add anchovies and break eggs over salad.  Toss well and top with croutons.
ENJOY!!!

I just realized that the heading says Baking Memories, but it also says Holiday Stories.  So I guess it is ok.  Caesar Salad can be for the Holidays!!!

I usually avoid it because it is loaded with calories.

I avoid anything with  anchovies ....... I avoid anything that sat canned in the cupboard near a can of anchovies!! Tongue out

Eggs boiled 60 seconds? That must be soft boiled without shells?

But Marie - thanks for posting a recipe, each one is so valuable.

I don't like eggs that are not completely cooked.  So I have never been a big fan of these salads.
