There was no better place to be than in my Grandmothers kitchen during the holidays. She made fudge, divinity, candy cookies, banana pudding, and so much more. My cousins would make fun of me for not going out to play with them while the women cooked but what they didn't know is I was the one licking the bowls clean. To this day I receive calls from my cousins asking me if I can teach them how to make grandmas Candy Cookies. Of course I will give them the recipe but remind them who is laughing now.
