I remember going to my Aunt Lucille's every year for a long time. We would make a day of it. We would have dinner and then we would get the bowls, untintals, and ingredients out to make gingerbread cookies. Hours later after many cookies and lots of fun it was time to go. This went on for many years until she got to old to do it.

This sounds like a very good family time together. I guess it would be one that I would pass down to my children, and would do it for the memory of my Aunt. Keep the tradition going.

I used to do that with our sons and nieces. As they got older, they didn't want to do it anymore. But those are good memories.
