I’m not a very good cook in fact I’m a horrible cook. My husband comes from a family of cooks so I thought it would be nice to surprise him with a special Valentine’s Day Dinner. I decided to cook homemade lasagna and for desert tiramisu. I cooked all day and it was very hard work. I have to say I surprised even my husband. The lasagna turned out all right… a little dry but nothing a can of extra tomato sauce wouldn’t fix. When it came time for the desert my husband was very impressed. He did ask me what all those little black dots in the cream filling were and I said coffee. I then proceeded to tell him how it said to add two tablespoons of coffee to the recipe and I did. He then started laughing and told me I was supposed to heat up the beans, not just scoop them in there. So we both had a long laugh. He was very sweet and even tried a bite for me!
