Donna -- the swapped recipes will be re-posted soon ..... no exact date but we know they will be back fairly soon.
Is there one recipe you really need now?

Did you ever get the recipe for the cranberry bark? or are you using cherries?

Can't wait for them to be brought back - have some really good recipes stored in there!

Do you think that the recipes we had added to our recipe box before the website change will be reloaded?

Angela - I used that great cranberry bark recipe twice.  Firtst I used it with dried strawberries -- fantastic!!  It WAS (it's gone now) beautiful and very delicious.

I tried it again with marachino cherries.  I dried them carefull - rolling in paper towels before chopping - pushing into paper towels after chopping.  I still didn't get them dry enough.  The moisture left in them caused the white chocolate to seize.  Instead of a smooth layer on the dark chocolate, it went on in sort of damp clumps.
I still broke it up and gave it away.

Anyhow -- I like that great recipe so very much it's now posted with a red star inside my kitchen cabinet doors.
For me that's a BIG deal - lol

Hi Angela  (again ... I just love your avatar)
I copied that recipe from someone who posted it right here, on this site.
I'll see if I can find it to copy and repost here.  It's sure not "my" recipe.

Thank you. I can't wait to get it. My avatar, I love cats, reminds me of my dear friend Denise. She is always there when I need her.

Good morning Angela :-)   Here's that recipe that I can endorse but sure take no credit for.  Gee, I wish I had noted the name.

CRANBERRY NUT BARK

1 cup dried cranberries
3/4 cup toasted diced pecans
2 2/3 cups chopped semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, melted
2 2/3 cups chopped white chocolate melted

Toss cranberries and pecans together - set aside.
Melt the dark chocolate and spread into an 8 x 12 oval on parchment paper.
Let the chocolate set but not harden completely.

Melt the white chocolate and mix with 3/4 cup of the cranberries and pecans.
Spread this  over the dark chocolate.  Sprinkle the rest of the nuts and cranberries on
the top, pressing them into the chocolate gently.
]Allow to cool until hardened completely, then break into chunks.

Blessings on you Nancy. I will try to make the bark today, but it is going to be a little hectic with family coming to share in the Christmas Holiday. If I can't get to it today, I will definitely try to make it during the week.

Angela -  I hope you have a WONDERFUL day, hectic or slow.
Another good thing about that bark is that it's so fast and easy to make.

Of course - when you taste it ... you need to make a second batch. lol

I made the cranberry nut bark but used walnuts (I had walnuts & almonds) & this recipe is a keeper. Thanks for posting.
