This is an awesome idea! There is nothing like good soup and fellowship at the same time!

Julie,
I'am going to steal your idea. One of the project we are doing is " Soup In The Pot". We are making several pots of soup, the money we make will go to buy turkeys for the homeless and the soup kitchen. We have many people helping. The story of your son helping  the lady in the market triggered all this , we are also collecting gently used coats. We will have them cleaned. Many businesses are helping.Your stories started all this, again thank you to you Julie and to your son..

That would be something nice to start, live in an apartment complex and it would be an interesting way to meet your neighbors, we have 8 in our section.

What a nice story, and a great idea for left overs and just plain being neighborly. Very nice

Great story.   I have had soup that was too spicy, no amount of water would tone it down lol.
