My neighbor was telling my nine year old the other day how she has been labeled as being "Brownie Challanged" her husband and six year old daughter complain about how she always ruins brownies. My nine year old reponded that she would teach her how to make brownies from scratch. My neighbor told her that she was sure that her mother was too busy to teach her how to make brownies - the nine year responded that she was going to teach her not her mother!! My neighbor came over and Sarah taught her how to make brownies. Her husband called that night to ask if Sarah knew how to make cookies!!!

very cute story. I think the sooner the better kids learn to cook and help out around the house. Your daughter sounds very special!

What a great story!! I have a 10 year old granddaughter who is just like that. She has been cooking with me since she was little. Now I can just about let her go. (I do keep an eye on what is going on though)
