I will never forget one Thanks giving, my niece called me rather late (she knew I was always up cooking late) She began to ask me about oyster dressing, that hers did not look right. I asked what seasonings she was using she had all the right seasonings.I asked if she drained and cleaned her oysters, she did. I than asked if she was using corn bread or regular bread, She said corn bread. I than asked well what seems to be wrong with your stuffing, she said it's watery. I asked did you add to much broth to the corn bread? No I mixed everything like it said on the side of the box. I than said well did you bake it long enough in the oven before you sarted to make the dressing? She started to laugh, no I didn't bake it at all. I just mixed every thing up with the corn bread mix and thought that was how you made stuffing, you put it in the turkey and it turns into stuffing in the over. I laughed so hard. I told her to just put it all into a pan and bake it, crumble it up after. She called later on thankgiving daytold me it baked well and it tasted good. So I guess everything turned out o.k. for her first home cooked Thanksgiving meal

Well now that was really cute being as it was her first Thanksgiving dinner. Those do some times create some real fabulous memories. LOL Guess most of us have had some sort of experience when it came to that.
