When I first moved away from home I didnt really know how to cook. I tried a few things-- meatloaf, chicken -- easy stuff, but I was not good at it at first. I couldn't go running home to mom every night for dinner, so for the first few months I lived on cereals and spaghettios. I got so tired of that and I decided to learn how to cook and bake. I secretly took my moms cookbooks (so I thought anyway) and taught myself how to cook. I snuck the cook books back in before I thought anyone had noticed. That next christmas, mom gave me that cookbook with a note -- Now you don't have to borrow mine -- its yours....) One of my best presents. Thanks mom --I miss her....

I ALSO ATE ALOT OF SPAGHETTIOS WHEN I WENT TO NURSING SCHOOL. IT WAS A QUICK MEAL. NOT A WHOLE LOT OF TIME TO COOK WHEN YOU'RE IN COLLEGE OR HAVE JUST MOVED AWAY FROM HOME.
