It was the day before halloween and my granddaughter who was 4 at the time was helping me make a pumpkin cake for a party. We have great times together making things together. We have had a great day together going to the pumkins fields and the corn mazes. But we had to make this cake for our party. So we started off together mixing and stirring and baking. Now to decorate. But it was bed time now.But as grandmothers do we decided to finish our cake first. First went to bottom half and iced. Then the top part. I could see the eyes of a little girl getting heavier and heavier. Next thing I

and the next morning what a surprise to this little girls eyes to see that she had completed the pumkin. She ask me Oma,I don't remember those eyes. I thought that they were purple. But,I did good? Yes, this is the fun of baking with the little girls in my life.
