When our grandsons Anthony and Nicholas were three and five years old I had them make and frost their very own Sugar Cookies with tinted White Butter Frosting. Anthony and Nicholas loved cutting out the different shapes, star, santa claus, bell, xmas tree, camel, etc. Then Anthony suggested if he could make a cut-out of his hand to give to his parents as his gift. As we started rolling out the dough, we had put flour on the board where we roll out the cookies, when all of a sudden the container of flour dropped to the floor. Anthony said, "Oops, no more flour." I assured him we had more flour and he was worried about the mess he made and I just said, "We can use the vacuum cleaner to pick up the dumped flour." Later his parents came back from shopping and loved his handprint cookies. Nicholas, his brother also did a handprint too! For Christmas that year the two grandsons made an apron with their handprints on the apron saying, "Grandma's little angel bakers. To this day I treasure that apron as Anthony is now 17 yrs. old and Nicholas is 13 yrs. old.
