This past weekend I visited some family members in California. We spent a lot of time with my neice, her husband and their 5 year old son. We were going to go out to dinner one night and couldn't decide. Seth, the 5 year old didn't want to go. He didn't want to go to a resturant-- it is "long" food, and he didn't want "fast" food either, so we asked him what he wanted and he said "best" food. Well, I caught on that long food meant that it took to long to get served, but I had to ask what best food was. He said it was his mommys cooking-- it was just the best. He is a smart kid-- his mom's cooking is the best.

My granddaughter is always telling Mom and Dad that grandma make the best pizza, spaghetti, cookies and other things as well. I guess kids know that home cooked is the best!
