My daughter Jourdan was 4 years old...so was her cousin Nina. They were best of friends! They did everything together. Whatever Nina older cousin did she followed. I was preganant with my second child...very pregnant. The phone rang right in the middle of baking with the girls. The cookies were in the oven and they were just playing with the pots and pans pretending to be cooking. My living room is attached to the kitchen so I sat the the counter in the living room to take the call(back in the days before cell phone or wireless phone for that matter!) I get done with the call due to the hysterical laughting I hear coming from the kitchen. I slowly walked in to find my daughter and her cousin sitting with the flour canister between them. They were trowing the flour in the air and it was everywhere. My insticts were to yell to make them stop but my funny bone found it too funny so I backed up slowly and picked up the video camera and slowly sneaked back into the kitchen not letting them see me. I taped them giggling and throwing around flour for a few minutes before asking them if they were having fun. They nearly jumped out of there skin. That was even more funny! Then my 4 year old said "look mommy...it's snowing" How can you be mad when it is snowing!

LOL!   Snowing flour!   Well, it would be pretty & white.  It is also is just as much trouble to clean up... shovel, de-ice, rock salt, etc.
Yep, I think she is right.

Funny, cute, adorable, but I wouldn't want to be the one to clean it up. Thanks for the enjoyable story.

What a funny story and a patient, good-natured mom!  How long did it take to clean all that flour up?  I can imagine it even got into the cupboards!
