I remember when I was a Jr. in highschool and my teacher wanted us to bake a christmas log. I went home all excited. I got all the ingredients, and got started on the log. Everthing was going great when I got to the part where I needed to soften the butter so I melted it. all in all my poor log did not stick together. It still tasted good, but did not look good. Thank to my mother we remade the log a second time and that one came out just right.

This sotry reminds me of the time I baked sugar cookies for my family at the age of 8 and I made the mistake of reading the recipe wrong. Instaed of 1 cup of sugar I thought that I read 1 cup of salt. Needless tosay, these were not a hit with anybody except my beother who thought thet made good bb targetes.
