It's tradition to roll out sugar cookie dough for cut-out cookies in December with our grandsons, age 4. They were so exhuberant after many unique cookie sheets full of cookies that we ran out of dough. I had made rolls for our lunch and had bread dough to spare, so we used that. Our resulting "breaddies" were delicious, more healthy and fun to share, frosted or plain. Our grandsons tell everyone what breaddies are and it is a new term for everyone. If you haven't made yeast dough, roll out inexpensive tube biscuit dough for a similar effect.
