Me and my neices and nephews were are enrolled in baking classes for 4-H. The county fair was just around the corrner and my mom was trying to get all of us to pratice our recipes. Needless to say some of us thought spending time inside cooking when they could be outside was a waste of time. My two nephews Rick and Billy were to make biscutes, the kind that you roll and cut out, not knead . They desided that to make things go faster they would play catch with the dough to make the "rolling" go faster. Well they began to toss it back and forth with my neices egging them on and me yelling at them to stop stomping around the kitchen before they made my cake fall. Well by the time my mom got back in to the kitchen the biscute were cut out and in to the oven. My mom never knew until the day of the fair when they repeated the whole process in front of her. Mom yelled the boys laughed and when the judging was over both boys had blue ribbions and my mom was mortfied when they stood up and told the judges how they made the dough.
We still tease those two to this day about the biscut toss blue ribbion biscutes.
