I am so blessed to be a stay at home mom. I get to bake whenever I (ahem, my children feel) the "need". We mostly bakes cakes and cookies. My children love cooking, so the kitchen is like the "official" meeting place in our home - it's our watercooler.

Well, time for another break! See ya at the watercooler.

I remember back when I was a stay at home mother. It was wonderful making crafts, baking, reading, play acting, and puzzle time. Our kitchen area was the meeting place to do almost everything. What wonderful memories we all have during their earlier years.

The dining room was our "watercooler". It was only used for "major" ocassions so it did not need to be cleaned up all the time like the kitchen would.

I, too, was a stay at home Mom when my children were growing up.  We did so much together. We cooked, baked, did all kinds of crafts, read stories, went to the library, etc.  In fact bringing them to the Library brought me to the job I had  for several years after they had grown.  I did story hours at the library.  My husband always says that the best job I had and loved was being at home with my sons while they were growing up.  He is correct!!!

The kitchen table was our water cooler when the kids were young.

My Mom stayed home with the four kids.  Too bad not as many women are able to now.  It was a simpler time.  We gathered around the dinner table every night.  Not so many distractions.  But that does not mean I want to give up my computer!

The dining room was our watercooler for a long long time. Now as empty nesters we tend to "cool" where ever the kids are!!
