Oh my goodness do I remember the feast.  We always ended up dinner with Heavenly Hash.  It had whipped cream, bananas, marchino cherries, fruit cocktail and chopped pecans.  I still try to have dessert first so I don't have to save room!  LOL

Thanks for sharing your wonderful memories. Our family still gets together at my Mom's for Thanksgiving every year.

My sister and I alternate years having Thanksgiving at our house.  We decided to give mom a break several years ago, but she still bakes her pumpkin pies and pumpkin rolls.

My mom always made 3 types of cranberry dressing: fresh (with Ocean Spray), canned cranberry and a thick cranberry-horseradish sauce from her family.
