Recently our church held a recipe swap luncheon. The idea of it was to bring the recipe for a cooked dish and either prepare it at home orat the church, after which we all sampled the finished dishes, and copies of the recipes were swapped. Some of the doshes were shrimp gumbo, Polynesian fried rice, possum pie (actually made with chicken). It was a time of good food, fun, and fellowship.
