A special treat was when Mom would let me help with making the molasses cookies. The chilled dough was rolled into a ball and then rolled in sugar before baking. I still like doing that part when I bake them myself. I have it down to a science and everyone just raves when I make them today.

I love molasses cookies!! IF only I knew what to add to my recipe to have them come out nice and soft. HAVE any ideas for me anyone?? would be willing to try anything!! ALMOST!!

Molasses cookies were one of my favorites and just by reading your memories of those great tasting cookies made me look in my pantry for the ingredients. I'm going to make them today!!! Thanks..
