I remember the first time my mom let me cook. I used my kids' cookbook and made meatloaf. I still remember it and use it to this day

Kids love to cook and teaching them is a wonderful experience for both parent and child. I love to watch their faces as they watch others eat their accomplishment and wait for comments. No matter how it comes out it came from the heart.

That is a great memory. I buy my grandkids(3 and 7) a kids cookbook for Christmas as they love to cook and bake with me and their mom.

I still have all of my kids cookbooks and after all these years I still use several of the recipes they contain!! Some day I hope to pass them on to my grandbabies!
