I truly miss my grandmothers breakfast. I stayed with her every summer day while my mom worked. She always fixed eggs with sausage crumbled in, toast, & 1 slice of sharp cheddar cheese. I miss this so much & wished now I would have paid attention or been more involved when she was cooking. I have tried to make what seems to be simple of cooking eggs, cooking sausage crumble up & add to eggs. Well its awful!! I have no clue what my grandmother did to make this such a great dish but I wished I could figure it out figure what she added, etc.

Such a good memory!
Maybe she made one of the many egg & sausage casseroles?
