I was just 3 years old when Grandma started teaching me how to cook and make her "Traditional Christmas candy and cookies. She took the stoolso I could stand beside her at the counter. She taught me how to make everything from "scratch". We would even get into flour fights when making chocolate chip cookies. I am the a great cook because of what she taught me, and now I am carrying on the tradition with my grandchildren. I sure miss her. She passed away in 1994.
