My grandma was always in the kitchen. She taught me how to cook from scratch. Every saturday we made fresh dough for noodles, pieroges, cookies and pies. All Hungarian! I lost her when I was 16. Thank God I have those memories to pass down to my children and her greatgrand-children. My grandson is always in the kitchen with me now. He loves to help and that is because she showed me the patience that it takes to let him, like he showed me.
