Gift for young woman
Tell what you’ve passed down
At my church, lovely young woman was turning 15 this week.  I gave her the usual box of cookies and a recipe box.  I printed out all my favorite cookie recipes and put those in the box.

She will have a good time with those recipe.  That's about the age they want to cook.

I'm sure she was very happy to receive it.  She will really appreciate it as she gets older, goes to college, gets married, etc.  Whenever she makes your favorite cookie recipes, she will think of you.

Passing on recipes is a lot of fun and people always enjoy trying new recipes also.
I think it is great to help a young person get interested in baking.  It stays with them all there life.

Not only do I pass on the recipes I invite them to have a hands on lesson.  They love it.

I've done this in the past as well, and the recipients all seem to be very appreciative.
