I was very lucky to have parents that baked and cooked together. Then of course, there was my grandma. Everything she made was from scratch. Oh how I looked forward to Christmas with her and the egg custard she would make especially for me! Today, I am making sure my granddaughter, Presleigh, will have the same fond memories of me. We bake together every holiday and as she gets older, I let her do more of the mixing. I am very proud of both of my daughters for cooking and baking for their families and even more proud when they present their dishes at our family holiday table...

Cooking is a wonderful tradition to pass on.  To both boys and girls.  Smile
