When I think about growing up as a child, it is filled with great memories of my mother preparing meals. My mother would allow me to help her cook, this was so much fun for me. Now, I find myself doing the same things with my daughter and grandaughter, we don't wait until a holiday, or to have special guest in our home, with celebrate the memories that I had while growing up. If we could start celebrating everyday by sharing love and memories.

I feel the same as you. Make every day special and create new memories as you share old ones.

Yes my thoughts are the same as yours. Having only sons, now grown, they enjoyed helping and learning to cook in the kitchen with me. I figured my future daughters-in-law would thank me some day. I am now waiting for the birth of my first grandchildren (Twins a boy and a girl - Hurrah!) and I can hardly wait for the day when they are old enough to stand on a chair to "help" me bake their first cookies!!

I have two sons and they both helped me in the kitchen. Today they are very good cooks. I recently had a right knee replacement and they helped take care of my husband with his MS while I was in the hospital and in rehab and shopped and cooked, etc.
