I can't wait
Tell what you’ve passed down
I can remember learning how to bake with my mom. I recently had a baby my first one. I can not wait for the day that he asks to help me bake cookies.

It is great! My dtrs first Christmas she was 6 months old~~I used to put her in her seat up on the table and she watched! She is now 13 and doing it herself!! My 10 yr old son is also a big help! Of course he prefers to be the cookie tester! I still have fun with them~making Irish potatoes, is also fun...cinnamon tends to end up everywhere but just to sit there and I find out more about what is going on with them than by asking them a direct question!! Have a great time baking with your son this year and for many years to come!!!

Both of my grown sons helped me with the Easter meal this year, and it was so enjoyable...I was even able to ignore the mashed potatoes that got "whipped" all over the counter and back splash because my son used a bowl that was too small. lol

Congratulations on the birth of your son.

When my sons were young we cooked and baked all the time.  On holidays they are a big help, since I had the two knee replacements and fractured my wrist all last year.  They helped before too, because I had trouble getting around and my husband couldn't do much with his MS.
Enjoy your son and make memories.

It is not only a fun thing to do, but your child learns about baking and you also get a chance to bond with him,

I remember helping my Mom cook  and then my children helped me. Today they are grown and do a good job cooking.

How nice! Children grow up so fast. I love when my son comes for visits and cooks for me.

I am so happy to read that you can't wait until your child is old enough to teach the joy of baking. It is a loving, precious gift that we give to our children. Every time they do this they will remember you with love.
