My husband makes pretty good cheesecakes but this one time the pan and the oven were working against him. Had baked turkey a few days earlier but somehow the aroma was still in the oven and the pan he used for a water bath must have had some turkey drippings. So we ended up with turkey cheesecake. We did eat it but.....could not wait for the real thing, lol.

I love this story! My husband and daughter are both big turkey and cheesecake eaters. My husband makes both. I think they would enjoy a turkey flavored cheesecake!

I had to laugh about this story. Mishaps in the kitchen are good stories to share with family and friends. I love reading these stories. Thanks for sharing yours.

This sounds like something that would happen to me.  I hate it when foods mix unexpectedly.  I am glad you could still eat the cheesecake.  Even with such an unusual flavor. Smile

Actually, it sounds tasty! Just like having a turkey melt which is turkey and cheese. Very inventive.
