I am amazed when I see a response to a post that is a year or more old.  I guess I have been guilty of that at times but I do try to look at dates.
VBB this would be a question for you....I wonder if VBB can or should go through old posts and if there has been no activity for a year or more could it be archived so we can see it but not post a response.  If the subject has to be renewed it can be done in a new post.  Does that make sense?

it makes sense to me

according to my 'geek' that could be causing a lot of the browser problems we've experienced----------because of the length of time it takes to download--------a lot of browsers just stop and give you nothing---

he says ----how it manages or responds to the scripting used to display the website you are visiting---------not all webb pages are created equal and can cause issues with your browser trying to load them
if the scripts are bad it might even 'crash' while waiting

does that sound familiar

Could it be that there aren't enough new posts so VBB is recycling old ones?   Naw!  LOL

I agree with you completely .... But I've always thought that people who wanted to post something/anything were digging them up.
And VBB will not see this - they look only at things posted in that "Ask Questions" forum.

I wish we could be rid of some of the forums that repeat each other so much .... how many times does a person post the weather every morning? .... and so on.  What difference is the price of gasoline when we have no idea where in the country that is?  Why is it possible to post a recipe opinion 8, 9, 10 times ??
