One thing I'm careful to NOT do (because I've done it too often in the past) is turn off the oven while I turn off the timer.   That's hard on cookies.

This reminds me of putting clothes in the dryer and forgeting to turn it on and wondering why my clothes were not dry.and if my dryer was broke . Dumb right.

lol Mary .... what I forget about the laundry is to remove the stuff from the washer and get it into the dryer. 
Oh, how I hate looking for that particular blouse and then remembering it has been in the washer two days.

My clothes sat in the dryer for two days.   I was looking high and low for my house slippers until I remembered I put them in the was and they were in the dryer.....daaaaaahhhhhhh

Aren't husbands a hoot? LOL  When I had my old stove, my husband would often ask me if I still had something in  the oven since he said he could hear it cycling.  Most of the time it was his imagination but every once in a while I did forget to turn it off after taking the last thing out.   That shouldn't happen with the new one though I hope.  If I leave it on the time will always be 350 lol!
