i have gotten pretty good with gravy i buy broth and i use chicken for pork and chicken i add some onion to give it a good taste i cook it down then add bouillon cubes chicken or beef  all depends what kind of meat. when the meat is done i take the meat out of pan add the broth stir it to break up meat bits . i use corn starch for thickening i use a jar with a lid and shake it  up and have gravy on simmer and put a little at the time in gravyso it dont get to thick just play around with it till you get the hang of it good luck
