We were going on a picnic up in the interior and mom had made fried chicken with all the trimmings. We headed out and it took a bit to get there. While unloading and setting up everything we discovered the fried chicken had been left at home. We ate everything else and had the chicken when we got home. We did catch some nice fish.

When my husband was still working, we went to a company picnic. It was a "bring your own" and share, also. When we walked in, someone yelled, "hey, Mac, where's your cooler"? We both said "We plan on eating at your table"! Well, when we finished setting up, I asked my husband what he did with the cooler. He thought I had it, and I thought he had it. We did share with the family that asked where our cooler was. I was so embarassed; but they gave us a delicious meal!

Well at least you had a good time and you enjoyed the chicken when you got home.

Plan B came to fruition. You made the best of the situation and that is what counts.
