When my son was born my niece just turned 3 & loved the idea of being the older cousin. She was watching out for her little baby cousin right away. My mom for some reason had both of them at her house one day in the fall. Grandma being the clean down to earth old fashioned person that she is wanted to give Andy a bath, but didn't have a baby bathtub. She always was coming up with great solutions around the house & thought if she put Andy in her big roaster pan she could bath him on the kitchen counter more safely & easily. When my niece Amie saw grandma putting her baby cousin in the pan with water her eyes got bigger than saucers (as mom would say) and she said "your not going to cook him are you grandma???" My mom felt so bad that Amie would think this, but it was the funniest thing that ever happened in that house on South 17th street....

And yet another story dredged up from the archives, though it is a very cute story.
