When I was about 7-8 years old, I sent off for a sugar cookie recipe from Aunt Em who wrote in to a newsletter that we received at school. I asked her for her Sugar Cookie recipe and she mailed it to me. (I still have the postcard (a little yellow) that she sent. I made those cookies for years for my Dad. He always told me how good they were. He worked in the oil field so I wanted him to have something sweet at lunch. Wish I could still bake them for him and share the time with him but he is watching over me, his grandson and great grandsons now. Precious Memories.
