Even without the vanilla I'm sure it still tasted great. At least he tried his hand at it, has to count for something.

I'll take you piece of cheesecake Pat. I LOVE Cheesecake. My favorite is turtle cheesecake. I usually only make it once a year.

I love cheesecake and I made Turtle Cheesecake this Christmas. Delicious. No calories, of course. My son, always, requested cheesecake for his birthday instead of regular or any other cake ie (Dairy Queen) etc.

I will just make a no-bake kind several times a month if it hits my fancy.

I hate cheesecake I find it to heavy and if it could be covered with fruit I guess I could eat a very small piece like at a party or a friends house maybe once a year. It is not the taste I dislike but I can't put my finger on why only word I can think of was the word heavy.

Even though it didn't have the vanilla, it still tasted good. That's what counted at the time. Also the fact that he tried.
