I wanted to make Christmas cookies for my school party. Sugar cookies seemed like too much work, so I decided to make Toll House Cookies and use food coloring to make them "green." I learned the hard way that food coloring doesn't work with dough that has brown sugar in it. The cookies came out army-boot green. Yuck! We ate them with our eyes closed.

No matter what color the cookies are, Toll House cookies are always great. Don't you agree?

We all learn from our mistakes whether the turn out wrong or right. Fun and memories are what counts. Evidently they must have tasted good or you would'nt have eaten them. It was just the color that made you close your eyes. Trial and error is what makes us good cooks.
