I had made a birthday cake to take to my son's class and my friend had been teaching me cake decorating. I used the small stars and it took me about 3 hours to frost the cake. When I told her she laughed and said I should have used the mediums stars that would have been so much faster. Next time I sure did and was done in 20 mins.

I guess that did make a difference, 3 hours, you must have been tired!
20 minutes is more my speed.

I am glad you were pleased with your cake i WOULD NOT HAVE THE PATENCE TO DO THAT  I am not good at decorating a cake.
