When I was 6 years old, I had my first ever Rice Krispie Treat. When my Aunt Jennifer brought them to the house, I thought she was the best baker ever because those were the best treats a kid could ever want. Little did I know how easy they were to make.

My mother would make regular Rice Krispie treats in a pan during the year, but at St Nick’s she always made Rice Krispie Treat *balls*. She’d wrap them in waxed-paper and put them in the toe of our stocking. Of course, we didn’t know they were from her!
