Our Women's Ministry at church was having a cookie exchange for Christmas this year. My schedule was very busy, but I was determined to go. It is one of my favorite events of the holiday season. I had recently tried my hand at making biscotti and loved it, so I decided to make some for the cookie exchange. I got carried away and ended up with several kinds. I was up very late the night before putting finishing touches of dipping in chocolate and decorating. Well, the morning of the cookie exchange, we awoke to bad weather. It was raining and had turned cold for Houston, Texas. There was even some sleet and possible snow predicted. You guessed it, the cookie exchange was cancelled and not re-scheduled. Here I was, left with all that biscotti. What was I to do with it? Give it as Christmas gifts, of course!
