Who bakes brownie pudding on the Fourth of July? We do! Simply because summer is the easiest time for everyone to travel to New England, so we gather for this holiday and not the cold, icy winter ones! Grandma's brownie pudding is a must have - and the baker gets to hide the "last" piece inspiring a mad dash among old and young to find the hidden treat!

Brownie Pudding - sounds like a recipe I used to make when young and growing up on the farm. You pour water over the dry ingredients in a cake pan, and it bakes up with cake on top and pudding on the bottom. Really good when eaten hot with real whipped cream or ice cream melting on top.
