Every year it's a rush to get everything baked perfectly for 4-H projects at the fair. The kitchen is a beehive of activity and the dishes pile up as the entries come out of the oven, hopefully perfect enough the first time. Cookies are measured for uniform size and scrutinized for just the right brown color. It's a tense, but gratifying time when blue ribbons are awarded. 4-H is a wonderful learning experience for young people ages 8-18.....and their parents too!

I think the 4-H clubs do a great job promoting wholesome activities for kids and adults too.

I enjoy the part of the fair where you view the cooking, and everything wlse connected to ribbons and the fair.
