What a great way of multi-tasking. Baking and visiting and having fun all at the same time!!

I love your story, it reminds me of what my wife and her sister do when they get together. They make and bake a whole weeks worth of meals or both of our families. They do it each time they get together for a long holiday - a lotta work whew.

You're very lucky to have such a good friend to share the love of baking with. Savor every moment with her.

My sister,my best friend, and I do the same thing. She lives in Orlando. I live in Nevada. We get together about two or three times a year and baking is always on our list of things to do together. We pick out our recipes ahead and work them in to our activities. My husband reaps the benefits. He is our official taster.
