I loved carving pumpkins. Each year each daughter would pick one and I would pick one. Three were designed and carved. they first started out simple, but then I decided to buy a pattern book and get more creative. I was proud of some of my first creations. I'm a big Mickey Mouse fan and soon many pumpkins had some kind of Mickey carving. I was very proud of them and took pictures every year. Just sorry I can't find any to post here. A few years ago someone else must have also thought I had the prized Mickey pumpkin that they stole it. STOLE IT... CAN YOU IMAGINE... A MICKEY PUMPKIN!!! This couldn't have happened to me. I love Mickey and my prize pumpkin was stolen. I never found it smashed in the street like I thought some kids may have done... smashing pumpkins in the street. So I guess my prize pumpkin was pumpkin napped by someone who couldn't have been satisfied in taking a picture if they wanted a pattern for themselves. : ( Oh well, it was an ultimate compliment to have one of my prize Mickey pumpkins stolen I guess.
